For the book cover, I chose the fictional couple Jack and Rose from Titanic. Jack Dawson is a poor artist with a free-spirited and adventurous personality who wins a third-class ticket on the Titanic, a luxury cruise ship. Rose DeWitt Bukater is a wealthy young woman from an aristocratic family who feels trapped by the expectations of her privileged life. Their love story is emotional and tragic—Jack sacrifices his life so Rose can survive. I focused on showing Jack’s freedom and Rose’s longing to escape, along with the sorrow of their separation.
